Our staff have worked on a wide range of sports infrastructure projects, from national football stadia across Europe to World Cup stadia across Brazil. Our staff have worked on sports infrastructure projects for global football confederations, football associations and clubs of all sizes. Outside of football, our staff have worked on developing new cricket arenas in India, a world-class tennis venue in London, proposed Formula1 circuits in North America and Europe as well as golf resorts in Europe and sports hubs in Asia.
The approaches adopted on these projects have been varied, reflecting our capacity for results-driven lateral thinking. Where ticketing revenues were deemed potentially insufficient to cover the capital costs of the desired facilities, our staff have embedded the sports infrastructure projects within broader mixed-use real estate projects, in which they configured the scheme to allow sufficient revenue streams to subsidise the development of the sports infrastructure, which in turn differentiated and drove demand for the real estate scheme. In other projects, advanced analytics were used to maximise the revenues from general admission and corporate hospitality products, advising architects on the size and configuration of the sports infrastructure that would tailor the supply to the local market requirements, with a view to maximising and securitising contract-backed revenues with a view to securing adequate debt and equity financing.
Our solution-oriented, multi-disciplinary approach will make the most of the unique strengths, assets and market opportunities of each project, from the strength of the content, size of fan-base, land values, demographic trends and economic growth prospects, deploying economic consultancy, advanced market analytics and common sense to deliver lasting solutions on high-profile projects.
